CIC energiGUNE
CIC energiGUNE is an energy storage research center specialized in electrochemical and thermal energy storage and conversion that aims to generate disruptive scientific knowledge in materials and technological solutions related to energy, and contributing to improve industry competitiveness and sustainable development. CIC energiGUNE has a demonstrated long lasting experience in materials modelling, design, synthesis characterization, and testing.
Within the WASTE2H2 project, CIC energiGUNE is the Project Coordinator and is in charge of computational Ionic Liquids selection, the synthesis/characterization of selected Ionic Liquids at laboratory scale, the preparation of the novel Ionic Liquid-based catalytic systems and will provide support in the metal nanoparticles (MNPs) synthesis. In addition, CIC energiGUNE deals with the coproduced carbon material characterization for its valorization and is involved in both semi-batch catalytic tests and conceptualization fo TRL4 continuos-flow prototype. Finally, CIC energiGUNE leads as well the Dissemination and Communication activities.
